Hi!

I’m Carolina, a north Brazilian visual development artist and children’s book illustrator based in London, UK.

I graduated in Communication and Fashion in Brazil and have a Master in Fashion (IED Milano). I worked as a print & pattern and fashion designer for almost a decade until I moved to Europe, in 2016. After that, I studied character design at Pictoplasma Academy (2017, Berlin), finished a new Master's in Visual Development Art at Idea Academy (2022-23, Italy) and recently completed the course Pathways into Picture Books at Pop-up.org (2023, London).

I’m represented by the amazing James McGowan at Bookends Literacy.

I’m a proud member of SCBWI and 12x12 Challenge.

I’m also a member of 9B Collective Studio community, Women in Animation, and Concept Art Association - I was a mentor at CAA in 2023.
